International Food in Your Neighbourhood – Halal Xinjiang beef noodles

“When I first came to Singapore from Xinjiang, China about 6 years ago, the thing I found hardest to get used to was the climate.

I was so used to the cold weather in Xinjiang that when I arrived in Singapore, I had to take multiple baths everyday because I was perspiring so much due to the hot weather here!”

– Aisha Tan Xiu Zhi, owner of halal beef noodle shop Yi Zun Beef Noodle

Xiu Zhi came to Singapore with her two children so that they could have a good education and safe environment to grow up in. Being Chinese-Muslim, she saw that there were not many halal Chinese food options available here, and decided to open a stall serving some of her favourite Xinjiang cuisine.

The four-month-old establishment is already a hit with the Muslim community, so the next time you are in the Farrer Park area, be sure to check out her stall at 45 Sam Leong Road, Singapore (207935)!
